Eric's ARENA FOOTBALL POWER RATINGS
RATINGS PHILOSOPHY:
  • Record--The most important factor in a team's rating.
  • Strength of Schedule or SOS--The Schedule Strength based on Opposition's Record and Points scored and allowed.
  • Offense--Points scored compared to the League average, relative to the Defenses played against.
  • Defense--Points allowed compared to the League average, relative to the Offenses played against.
  • Power --Scoring the most points while allowing the opposition as few points as possible. Historically, teams that win more dominantly against their opponents. win more games than teams that win by less so.
  • System PCT (SP)-A team's overall rating compared to the hypothetical 'average' team (.500SP).
